What has happened to the Indigenous population in Canada has implications that impact millions of Canadians across all strata of society as the reality of what needs to happen to advance reconciliation ripples across the collective consciousness of Canadians. The 94 Calls to Action impact civil servants, researchers, students, professors, teachers, lawyers, paralegals, social workers, doctors, nurses, health care practitioners, mental health professionals, librarians, archivists, administrators, journalists, sports participants, new immigrants, churches, religious adherents, politicians etc. etc. etc.
Reconciliation is not going away. The central mission of Indigenous Watchdog is to keep reconciliation alive by being open, transparent and objective in delivering the underlying data that supports each Call to Action status.
